Welcome to Alabama State University's Student Employment Program! 

The Student Employment Program was established at Alabama State University to provide eligible students, with an opportunity to gain valuable work experience and meaningful part-time employment on campus while attending college. The Student Employment Program cannot be used to replace university employees.

Students assigned on the Student Employment Program earn an hourly wage not less than the Federal minimum wage. Wages earned on the Student Employment Program may be applied to the student's outstanding balance for tuition, books, lab or other fees associated with admission. Any remaining balance is disbursed to the student. Students are paid on a monthly basis for hours worked.

Students employed in the Student Employment  Program are placed on a first come, first serve basis. Eligible student must complete the online application form.
