After-School Tutorial Program
Educational Talent Search After School Tutoring is a free service that offers students academic assistance in the areas of English, mathematics, reading/language, history and science. The primary purpose of the tutorial program is to provide remedial support to alleviate failure and ultimately reduce the dropout ratio. In addition, one-on-one attention is given to help students with homework assignments and every effort is made to identify and correct weakness in one or all subjects.
If you are interested in this service for your child, please check with the school's Guidance Office or call the ETS Coordinator's Office at 334-229-4602.
HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE DROPOUT PROGRAM
The Talent Search program provides high school dropouts the necessary information on returning to school or getting into a GED preparatory program. In addition, participants are encouraged to think about college enrollment to a two-year or four-year college or university or technical institution once they have received a certificate of completion, diploma or GED.
The program also provides information and assistance to those persons (ages 18-27) who attended college but withdrew before receiving a certificate of completion or a degree. College admissions information is available to each participant.
